Debbie Harry thinks Madonna is an ‘a-hole’

The 71-year-old Blondie singer was not impressed with Madonna’s speech at the Women’s March in Washington in January when she claimed she had “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House” after Donald Trump won the US presidential election.

Speaking about Madonna, she told the Sunday Times Magazine:

“I don’t feel like I have to be an a*****e and say stupid things like ‘Bomb the White House’, but I am speaking out on politics now. I’m sleepless since Trump’s election.”

  But as Madonna offered encouraging words in the captions for her social media images, she also provided some hashtags which were in promotion of her new album.

MADONNA has been slammed by fans today for posting a picture of her and Ariana Grande partying.

More than 24 hours after Monday night’s Manchester bombing, Madonna, 58, uploaded a picture to Instagram of her and Ariana, 23, with their arms wrapped around each other and pouting at the camera.

Madonna wrote: “Thank Goodness my friend is O’K. Lets all pray for the innocent victims who are not ok. For their families and for Manchester

However her followers were left reeling at the picture and the words the singer had chosen.

One wrote: “She should NOT use such a tragedy for self-promotion!!! Another picture and words would fit better!!!!”

MADONNA can complain all she wants, but she won’t be able to stop Blond Ambition, the ­unauthorised biopic about her rise to pop stardom.

Since news broke that Universal had bought the screenplay by Elyse Hollander for Brett Ratner (producer of The Revenant) and Mike De Luca (producer of The Social Network and Moneyball) to produce, Madonna has been trashing the project on Instagram.

But since she didn’t write many of her early hits, and doesn’t control the copyrights to those songs, she has no way to stop the music from being used in the movie.
